Meet our Lab's research team!

Dr. Neff is the head of the Austin Marriage Project and the Neff Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences in the College of Human Ecology.

Liz Keneski

Liz is the Project Coordinator for the Austin Marriage Project. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with high honors from Colorado State University and her interest in romantic relationships research brought her to UT Austin to assist with the Project. Liz is also now pursuing her Ph.D. here at UT and hopes to run her own research lab examining nontraditional relationships in the future.

Dr. Erin Crockett

Erin received her Ph. D. from the Human Development and Family Sciences Program at the University of Texas where she investigated the cumulative development of gendered health outcomes for the romantically-involved. After a post doctoral fellowship at Heriot-Watt University in their Applied Psychology Department, where she investigated health and relationship phenomena from a life course perspective, she is now a professor at Southwestern University.

April Allen Buck

April is a third year graduate student in Dr. Neff's lab focusing on how marital stress affects cognitive depletion and coping strategies. April also completed her undergraduate work at the University of Texas, Austin in Psychology, graduating with high honors. 

Taylor Anne Morgan 

Taylor Anne completed her Bachelors here at the University of Texas as a psychology major and honors student, and now joins us in HDFS as a second year graduate student working with Dr. Neff to examine wavering satisfaction in the early years of marriage and the role of optimism in marriage.
